Hello,
We have the following error when we start encoding on remote computers:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/7um9i211bdzlvnh/photo.jpg
This error only show up when we hit Make DCP and show up on the remote machine only. Please note that 2 out of 3 machines are able to encode perfectly.
Any idea what could be causing the issue?
Thanks!!
Error - bad lexical cast
Re: Error - bad lexical cast
Hi,
What language is that remote machine set to use?
Also, what version(s) of DCP-o-matic are you using?
Thanks

Re: Error - bad lexical cast
Hello,
I was able to fix the issue by changing the non unicode language from French to English.
It work like a charm!

Re: Error - bad lexical cast
I have the same problem, see attachment.
I saved as UTF 8 with BOM and also removed row zero, nothing changed.
Then I used other subtitles and DCP o Matic crashed, it just closed.
It is a slightly older version where you can change the resolution and remove black bars.
It is important that it works.
Thanks.
On my new PC with a newer version it says:
No WEBVTT header found
What is this?

Re: Error - bad lexical cast
Is it possible to send me your .mov file? carl@dcpomatic.com
Let me know if not and we can look into other ways to investigate.

Re: Error - bad lexical cast
I had the same with other subtitles, there changing the . to , worked.
But the first file has , already. Starts with a 0. Maybe because it is chinese made?

Re: Error - bad lexical cast
I don't think the mov file is the problem. It is really big.
So I have 2.16.62, maybe I should download the newest version.
I also have 2.10.5, it is more flexible when I have a scope file in 1920 resolution.

Sorry, I missed the fact that you had separate .srt files - I've replied by email.
