Hi

With the same system and settings after upgrading to 2.13.116 and above; the picture will not fit the second screen!
Does anyone have the same experience?

Can you describe in more detail what you mean by "doesn't fit"? Is there black padding, or something else? Do you know what version you were using when it last worked?

The latest version of DOM with the full-screen picture on the second monitor I've tried for playing was DOM 2.13.98. Now the picture is not full screen and has a thin black box on the left and thick black boxes on the right and bottom of the picture(no black box on the top), as you see here in a single frame:

Hi folks
still, it is not possible to have a full-screen picture on the second monitor with DOM 2.13.121.

What operating system are you using? What ratio is the DCP?

Is it 1.78:1 in a 1.85:1 frame?

It is 1.78:1 in a 1.78:1 frame.

It's debateable whether we should change this, I think. If that second screen were being projected and we scaled 1.78:1 to fit the width it would behave differently to a DCI projector (which would keep common height between 1.78:1 and 1.85:1).

Are you projecting the second screen output or just watching it on a screen?

I guess sooner or later, we would need some scaling options (maybe including cropping) in the player. Maybe the OpenGL renderer will allow this.

Most people would probably prefer a centered image, but as you say, projection has it's specific needs. And the second screen display is clearly targeted at projection.
