Description

Opening, editing and saving the AnnotationText and ContentTitleText doesn't update the AnnotationText on PKL file as well.

The notebook tab with the annotation text in is supposed to represent the CPL (there can be more than one tab).

Perhaps there should be a PKL tab as well...

I am not certain, but I am under the impression that the Annotation Text field on PKL and CPL are meant to be the same. On SMPTE checking, with verifier, this comes up as a SMPTE error.

I can't edit, so I commend again: the verifier is stating (as peculiar) :

  • The PKL 3710d55b-bb93-429a-894a-96917439a071 has only one CPL but its <AnnotationText> does not match the CPL's <ContentTitleText>.
  • The picture asset j2c_3ebe8465-642b-4faa-b90a-49306c4668b6.mxf has the expected hashes in the CPL and PKL.

Report

  • This DCP does not use the SMPTE standard.

  • The PKL 3710d55b-bb93-429a-894a-96917439a071, which has encrypted content, is not signed.

    Therefore, there must be a connection between the PKL's Annotation Text tag and the CPL's Content Title Text tag in SMPTE.

I think this is correct, but only if there is 1 CPL...
